This extra-curricular course aims at introducing students to econometric analysis using STATA with an emphasis on trade policy analysis. It explains the basic tools for processing and analyzing data and conducting simple regressions. It shows how basic descriptive analyses are provided by the means of statistical tables and graphs, and how data is prepared for simple linear regression models. Students will apply their knowledge to conduct trade policy analysis. Econometric skills are highly valued by employers.
